Divorce Caused Long-term Insomnia
My name is Anna. I suffered from severe insomnia for 20 years. I divorced when I was 41 years old. After the divorce, I immigrated to the United States with my young daughter. At that time, I had to study at school during the day, do two jobs and take care of my daughter. So, I was exhausted, but couldn’t sleep at night. I was nervous and irritable, had headaches and anxiety. My heart would suddenly beat very fast as if it was going to pop out, and sometimes it hurt. That pain was like being hit with an electric shock, which was very painful. Not only that, but when I combed my hair every morning, I found my hair fell out one by one, making me feel terrible.
My Long-term Insomnia Couldn’t Be Improved
To let myself fall asleep, I began to take sleeping pills. Later, I had to take more and more pills. In severe cases, I had to take 3 sleeping pills every night to sleep. Then I tried to do a lot of sports, including running, aerobics, etc., which made me sweat a lot. However, even though I was tired, I still couldn’t sleep.
I remember that for a while I did not sleep for as long as a month, and I completely lost my mind. When others talked to me, I couldn’t hear anything and didn’t know what I was doing. I was in a terrible situation. People who saw me said I had a yellow face and dark circles, which was very scary. People who have never had insomnia cannot really understand my pain.
Practicing Energy Bagua Improved My Insomnia
When I was having a bad time in life, a good friend took me to Bodhi Meditation. The experienced practitioners at the Meditation Center began to teach me Energy Bagua. Since then, I have practiced Energy Bagua every morning and attended a “Health and Happiness Retreat” to practice the “The Meditation of Greater Illumination”. I practice for 3 to 4 hours every day. After 3 months, I was able to fall asleep. I can sleep for 2 or 3 hours every night, which is precious.
Bodhi Meditation Made My Insomnia Disappear
In addition, I listen to “The Prajna Mantra” chanted by Grandmaster every night. I felt sleepy while I was sitting and fell asleep until dawn. A year later, my insomnia was gone entirely. I finally get 6 hours of sleep every night like a normal person, which is rare for me, so I’m happy.
Bodhi Meditation Restored My Health
Since my insomnia was gone, my headaches and anxiety have disappeared. My weak nerves have been relieved, and all the problems have not returned. It’s amazing! I am so refreshed I feel like I’m back in my thirties, full of energy and vitality, which makes me very happy! Thankfully, I met Grandmaster JinBodhi, and I’m grateful for the wonderful method that Grandmaster taught me. It enables me to have a second life. I sincerely thank Grandmaster!
