Relieved of Acid Reflux

In the second half of 2015, I was diagnosed with acid reflux caused by a bacterial infection in the stomach. I took antibiotics, but the problem was never resolved. I could eat only a very small amount of plain food per meal and had to abstain from my beloved coffee and kimchi.

To prevent acid from rising up my throat and creating a burning sensation, I had to sit up and lean against the pillow to sleep which was very uncomfortable. This affected my quality of sleep as I would often wake up about 3:00 a.m. and then was unable to fall asleep again. At 6:00 a.m. I had to prepare to go to work. I was often extremely sleepy during working hours. Coupled with stress at work, I was exhausted every day to the point that when I got home, I did nothing else. I tried all kinds of medication that were advertised to treat acid reflux but to no avail.

Through the recommendation of a relative, I got to know Energy Bagua and its health benefits. In February 2016, I started my practice. Due to a busy work schedule, I could only practice twice a week. During every practice, I would sweat profusely, but my body was relaxed and comfortable. Two weeks into the practice, I realized that my skin was more radiant; unlike in the past where it looked pale and dull. These changes boosted my confidence in the practice.

Six months into the practice, a miracle happened – I could eat a bowl of rice and my favorite kimchi. I couldn’t believe this was possible. The next day, to confirm my recovery, I drank a cup of coffee and there was no discomfort at all. My acid reflux was gone, and I stopped taking the antibiotics*. Besides that, I also could lie flat and sleep through the night.

Since I recovered from acid reflux and improved my quality of sleep, I am full of energy. During working hours, I am energized. After work, I can cook meals for my family. I am filled with happiness and gratitude.
