Energy Bagua is an ancient Chinese practice. When we practice, the movement and its reminders are synchronized with our mindset in a state of comfort, ease, kindness and relaxation.

A well-practiced participant will have no worries or distracting thoughts while walking Energy Bagua. He will merge completely with the mountains and rivers: “I am the wind, I am the sun, I am the nectar, I am the grass, I am the air, I am omnipresent.” It’s a return-to-Nature feeling. In addition, through the process of walking, we can reach an ethereal realm with no sense of self, and enter into a deep meditative state with no thoughts, no consciousness, no feeling, and no longer feeling the existence of the 6 sensory organs, nor any sensations arising from them.

It’s also very important that every time you close your practice, you have a feeling of compassion and gentleness in your heart. When gently rubbing your hands, they’re very soft; then gently rub them over your face, the lighter the better. The proper approach is: Hands do not touch the skin. When doing this, you should have beautiful thoughts, such as visualizing your own eyes, skin, hair as your 7-year-old eyes, 7-year-old skin, 7-year-old hair…
